t-Boc-Aminooxy-PEG4-alcohol is a bifunctional PEG reagent combining a Boc-protected aminooxy group with a terminal alcohol. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer supports solubility in aqueous media. Mild acidic deprotection exposes the aminooxy group for reaction with an aldehyde to produce a stable oxime linkage. The hydroxyl group provides a separate site for derivatization or conversion to another reactive functional group.
