80-O18 (solution in ethanol) is an ionizable cationic lipid used to develop lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for in vitro research. LNPs incorporating this lipid and a Cre-GFP fusion protein bearing assay-specific chloroalkane tags have shown high cellular uptake and functional delivery in HeLa-DsRed reporter assays. Cytosolic delivery has also been demonstrated in HeLa-HGM cells using a chloroalkane penetration assay (CAPA).
