Biotin-PEG4-acid is a biotinylation reagent for coupling to amine-containing molecules using EDC or HATU activation. Its PEG spacer extends the distance between biotin and the conjugated molecule, helping biotin access a protein binding pocket. The PEG moiety also increases the solubility of the resulting biotin–PEG conjugates.
