PLA(5k)-PEG(2k)-N3 is a monofunctional, amphiphilic block copolymer containing a hydrophobic racemic PLA block and a hydrophilic PEG segment. Its terminal azide supports click conjugation with DBCO/BCN or with a terminal alkyne in the presence of a Cu catalyst, forming a triazole linkage.
