FITC-PEG-OH is a linear heterobifunctional PEG reagent bearing a fluorescein dye and a hydroxyl group. Its green fluorescence has peak absorption at 494 nm and maximum emission at 521 nm, supporting its use as a fluorescent tracer. The hydroxyl terminus provides a site for further chemical modification or conjugation to biomolecules and surfaces.
