MC-Val-Cit-PAB-PNP is a cleavable ADC linker containing maleimide, a valine-citrulline dipeptide and a para-nitrophenyl group. The maleimide enables covalent labeling of protein cysteine residues through thiol reaction, while the activated PNP carbonate provides a site for reaction with amines. Its Val-Cit segment is susceptible to cleavage by Cathepsin B, supporting its classification among Val-Cit cleavable linkers.
