Palmitamide-PEG4-dUTP is a modified deoxyuridine triphosphate bearing a hydrophobic palmitamide group attached to the uracil base through a hydrophilic PEG4 linker. This amphiphilic, polymerase-compatible liponucleotide is used for site-specific lipid labeling of DNA. The PEG4 spacer adds flexibility and reduces steric interference, while the lipid chain contributes membrane affinity and hydrophobic interactions.
