FITC-PEG-FA, also named Fluorescein-PEG-Folic Acid, combines a fluorescent label and a folic acid component with PEG. Its fluorescein component provides green fluorescence with excitation/emission wavelengths of 490 nm/520 nm, allowing the conjugate to be traced.
The compound is soluble in aqueous solutions and is used for detecting folate receptors on cell membranes through the receptor-binding role of folic acid. It belongs to the fluorescent PEG and folic acid PEG catalog groups. Store at -5°C, keep dry and protect from sunlight.
