Fmoc-Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly-OH is a protease-cleavable ADC linker built around the Gly-Gly-Phe-Gly (GGFG) sequence. It supports antibody-drug conjugate synthesis through attachment to payloads and antibodies. Basic conditions remove the Fmoc protecting group to expose a free amine for subsequent conjugation, while the carboxylic acid group provides a site for coupling with amine-containing entities. The linker is soluble in DMSO.
