Lipid U-101 is an ionizable cationic lipid used to prepare lipid nanoparticles (LNPs) for mRNA delivery in vitro and in vivo. In an MC-38 mouse xenograft model, LNPs carrying mRNA for an IL-2–linker–CD25 fusion protein inhibited tumor growth.
