BCN-Osu is an amine-reactive cyclooctyne reagent combining a strained BCN group with an active N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) carbonate. It introduces a BCN handle onto primary amine-containing molecules, including peptides, proteins and antibodies. The resulting handle reacts with azide-tagged molecules through strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC), without a copper catalyst. Applications include bioorthogonal labeling and material functionalization. The listed purity is ≥95%.
