DSPE-PEG-Biotin is a linear heterobifunctional PEGylation reagent combining a DSPE phospholipid, a PEG segment and a biotin group. Its self-assembling behavior supports the preparation of PEGylated liposomes and micelles, with the DSPE component enabling incorporation into lipid bilayers. The biotin group provides a site for non-covalent binding in targeting studies.
