PT-179 is a thalidomide-derived cereblon ligand for targeted protein degradation research. It recruits cereblon into a ternary complex with proteins carrying a zinc finger (ZF) degron, supporting degradation of the tagged proteins. Examples include systems using SD40 or SD36 tags.
