DOTA-PEG4-alkyne combines a metal-chelating DOTA group with an alkyne-functionalized PEG linker. The DOTA group can be ionized and chelate di- and trivalent cations, supporting applications in imaging research. The alkyne provides a reaction site for azides through copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC).
