- Description
ROX alkyne, 6-isomer is the pure 6-isomer of an alkyne-functionalized ROX dye (Rhodamine X, Rhodamine 101). It enables fluorescent labeling of azide-containing biomolecules through copper-catalyzed click chemistry. The ROX fluorophore emits bright red fluorescence and is used in qPCR and microscopy applications.
The product is soluble in DMSO, DMF, methanol, ethanol. Storage is specified at -20°C; an inert atmosphere is preferred because ROX derivatives are susceptible to oxidation.
