DBCO-PEG-acid, MW 5,000 is a PEG reagent with DBCO and terminal carboxylic acid functionality for bioorthogonal conjugation. The DBCO group reacts with azides through copper-free click chemistry to produce a stable triazole linkage. The carboxylic acid (-COOH) terminus offers a separate coupling route, reacting with amines after activation with HATU or EDC to form a stable amide bond.
