CY5.5-PEG-NH2 is a fluorescent PEG derivative joining a near-infrared Cy5.5 dye to a PEG spacer with a terminal amine. Its emission maximum is around 710 nm, supporting fluorescence imaging, immunolabeling, nucleic acid labeling, microscopy and flow cytometry. The PEG spacer improves water solubility and biocompatibility, while the amine provides a site for conjugation to biomolecules or surfaces. Also named CY5.5-PEG-Amine, it has a supplied purity of ≥90%.
