t-Boc-N-amido-PEG-CH2COOH, MW 10,000 is a polydisperse PEG with a protected amine and a carboxylic acid group. The carboxylic acid can react with an amine in the presence of an activating agent such as EDC or HATU. Acidic conditions remove the tert-butoxycarbonyl protecting group to expose a free amine, which can subsequently react with an active ester such as an NHS ester. The product is included in both the PEG Linkers and Polymer PEG ranges.
