N-(Azido-PEG3)-N-(PEG2-amine)-PEG3-acid, HCl salt is a heterotrifunctional, branched PEG linker with azide, amine and carboxylic acid groups. These functional groups provide distinct sites for conjugation within a single linker.
The azide supports click reactions with alkynes, BCN or DBCO to form a triazole linkage. The amine can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and carbonyl compounds. The terminal carboxylic acid can be coupled to primary amines using activators such as EDC or HATU to form an amide bond.
