N-DBCO-N-bis(PEG4-t-butyl ester) is a branched, trifunctional PEG linker bearing one DBCO group and two t-butyl ester groups. The DBCO group reacts with azides through copper-free click chemistry. Deprotection of the t-butyl esters provides sites for subsequent coupling with amines or alcohols to form amides or esters, respectively. These functionalities support click conjugation and further coupling within the same linker.
