L-threo-sphingosine (d18:1) is a sphingosine analog of D-erythro-sphingosine, cataloged within the sphingolipid range. It inhibits protein kinase C, with 50% inhibition reported at 2.2 mol%, compared with 2.8 mol% for D-erythro-sphingosine.
