AC-PEG-NH2, also named Acrylate-PEG-Amine, is a linear bifunctional PEG reagent with an acrylate terminus and an amine terminus. Radical polymerization of the acrylate group supports the formation of crosslinked polymer networks and PEG hydrogels. The amine group provides a site for coupling with carboxyl groups or activated esters in bioconjugation and surface modification.
