Fmoc-NH-ethyl-SS-propionic NHS ester is a cleavable disulfide linker with an activated NHS ester for labeling primary amines (-NH2) on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides and other amine-containing molecules. Removal of the Fmoc protecting group under basic conditions exposes a free amine for subsequent conjugation. The disulfide bond can be cleaved using a reducing agent.
