DSPE-PEG4-acid is a bifunctional PEG linker combining a DSPE component with a terminal carboxylic acid. The DSPE component enables self-assembly in water into lipid bilayers for preparing liposomes as drug nanocarriers. The terminal acid can be coupled to amine-containing compounds using an activator such as HATU.
