PEP Azide is an azide-functionalized phenylethynylpyrene (PEP) fluorescent label for click chemistry with alkyne-bearing molecules. The PEP fluorophore is sensitive to its microenvironment and readily forms excimers, supporting its use in microenvironment probing and excimer-based assays. Its fluorescence is red-shifted relative to pyrene.
