CHO-PEG-Mal is a heterobifunctional polyethylene glycol bearing an aldehyde group (CHO) at one terminus and a maleimide group (Mal) at the other. Also known as Aldehyde-PEG-Maleimide, it combines two distinct conjugation functionalities within one PEG chain.
