Mal-NH-PEG2-NH2 is a linear heterobifunctional linker with a PEG2 spacer connecting maleimide and primary amine (NH2) functionalities. The maleimide reacts with thiol (SH) groups to form stable thioether bonds. The amine supports coupling to carboxyl groups through EDC/NHS chemistry, as well as reactions with activated esters and other amine-reactive groups.
