Bis-PEG3-acid is a PEG linker with two terminal carboxylic acid groups, part of the bis-PEG-acid family. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media. Its terminal carboxylic acids can react with primary amine groups in the presence of activators such as EDC or HATU to form stable amide bonds.
