- Description
Methyltetrazine-amido-Tri-(acid-PEG1-ethoxymethyl)-methane is a branched PEG click chemistry reagent bearing three carboxylic acid groups and a methyltetrazine group. The tetrazine reacts with TCO-containing compounds through an inverse-electron demand Diels-Alder cycloaddition, forming a stable covalent linkage without copper catalysis or elevated temperatures.
The carboxylic acid groups provide additional coupling sites for primary amines, forming amide bonds with activators such as EDC or HATU. This combination places the reagent within both tetrazine-PEG and acid-branched PEG chemistry. Listed solvents are DMSO, DMF, Acetonitrile, and the supplied purity is 98%.
