DSPE-PEG-Mal is a phospholipid PEG derivative combining DSPE (1,2-distearoyl-sn-glycero-3-phosphoethanolamine) with a maleimide functional group. It is used to attach antibodies, peptides and other ligands to liposome surfaces and other lipid PEG nanoparticles through the reactive maleimide group.
