DPPE-PEG-Mal, also called DPPE-PEG-Maleimide, is a linear heterobifunctional phospholipid-PEG derivative combining two C16:0 saturated palmitoyl tails, a hydrophilic PEG spacer and a maleimide group. The lipid tails provide membrane anchoring, while the maleimide supports thiol-reactive bioconjugation.
