Biotin-PEG4-S-S-acid is a cleavable biotin-labeling reagent in the disulfide linker range, used to introduce biotin into amine-containing biomolecules. Its disulfide bond provides a reduction-sensitive cleavage site, allowing removal of the biotin label with agents such as DTT, BME and TCEP.
