DBCO-PEG4-NH2 is a monodisperse PEG reagent with a dibenzocyclooctyne group at one terminus and an amino group at the other. The DBCO terminus reacts selectively with azide-functionalized molecules through strain-promoted azide-alkyne cycloaddition (SPAAC), supporting site-specific labeling, immobilization and conjugation.
The amino terminus provides a separate site for conjugation with carboxyl, aldehyde or other activated functional groups. This combination places the reagent within both click chemistry and amine-functional PEG applications.
