NH-bis(PEG3-t-butyl ester) is an amino-functional PEG linker with t-butyl-protected carboxyl groups. Its amino functionality can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes. Acidic conditions can remove the t-butyl protection to expose the carboxyl functionality.
