- Description
TCO-PEG9-maleimide is a bifunctional PEG crosslinker with TCO and maleimide groups for complementary conjugation steps. The maleimide reacts with thiols between pH 6.5 to 7.5, while the TCO group supports labeling of tetrazine-containing antibodies, proteins and other macromolecules. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer helps increase aqueous solubility.
The product has a purity of 95% and is soluble in DMSO, DMF, DCM. Storage is specified at -20°C. TCO can isomerize to a less reactive cis form, so prolonged storage is not recommended.
