NHS-PEG-RGD is a PEG linker with an N-hydroxysuccinimide (NHS) ester terminus and an RGD peptide motif. The NHS ester provides a coupling site for primary amines on biomolecules, surfaces or nanoparticles, allowing attachment of the RGD-containing linker.
The RGD sequence, arginine-glycine-aspartic acid, is a cell adhesion motif that interacts with cell-surface integrin receptors. This linker can be used to introduce RGD onto surfaces, nanoparticles or biomaterials for research involving cell adhesion and integrin-mediated interactions. The listed purity is ≥90%.
