NHS-PEG2-NHS, also called Bis-PEG2-NHS ester, contains two NHS ester groups joined by a hydrophilic PEG2 spacer. The ester groups react with primary amines on proteins, amine-modified oligonucleotides and other amine-containing molecules, enabling bioconjugation and crosslinking in biochemical and drug development research.
