t-Boc-aminooxy-PEG5-propargyl is a PEG crosslinker combining a propargyl group with a protected aminooxy group. The propargyl terminus reacts with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules through copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne click chemistry, forming a stable triazole linkage. Mild acidic conditions remove the t-Boc protection to expose an aminooxy group for reaction with aldehydes or ketones. The hydrophilic PEG spacer increases solubility in aqueous media.
