Propargyl-PEG4-Sulfone-PEG4-acid is a PEG linker with propargyl and terminal carboxylic acid functionality. The propargyl group couples with azide-bearing compounds or biomolecules through copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne click chemistry, producing stable triazole linkages. With activation by EDC or HATU, the carboxylic acid reacts with primary amines to form stable amide bonds. The hydrophilic PEG spacer supports increased solubility in aqueous media.
