t-Boc-N-amido-PEG11-amine is a water-soluble PEG linker with a free amino group and a Boc-protected amino group. Its hydrophilic PEG spacer supports solubility in aqueous media. The free amino group can react with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters, and carbonyl compounds such as ketones and aldehydes. Mild acidic conditions can remove the Boc protecting group to expose the additional amino functionality.
