BP Fluor 430 Picolyl Azide is a fluorescent azide probe for copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). Its picolyl motif chelates copper, increasing the effective Cu(I) concentration at the reaction site to accelerate labeling without increasing the bulk concentration of copper or azide reagent.
The probe supports sensitive alkyne detection, including detection of low-abundance targets, and permits reduced copper catalyst concentrations compared with the conventional azide probe. It is soluble in Water, DMSO, DMF and has a listed storage temperature of -20°C.
