BP Fluor 430 Azide is a water-soluble, green-fluorescent probe for click chemistry labeling. Its azide group couples with terminal alkynes through copper-catalyzed azide–alkyne cycloaddition (CuAAC). It also reacts with strained cyclooctynes to produce stable triazole linkages without a copper catalyst or elevated temperatures.
The probe has an absorption maximum at 432 nm and an emission maximum at 539 nm. It is described as photostable and pH-insensitive from pH 4 to pH 10, with solubility in Water, DMSO, DMF.
