N-Mal-N-bis(PEG4-acid-amido-PEG24-acid) is a maleimide PEG reagent with two terminal carboxylic acids, listed among branched PEG linkers. At a pH between 6.5 and 7.5, its maleimide group reacts specifically with sulfhydryl groups to form a stable thioether linkage. The carboxylic acid termini support conjugation with amine-containing molecules using activators such as HATU.
