6-Azidohexanoic Acid STP Ester is a water-soluble, amine-reactive labeling reagent combining an azide with a 4-Sulfo-2,3,5,6-tetrafluorophenyl (STP) ester. It supports modification of proteins, antibodies and other amine-containing biopolymers in aqueous media through amide bond formation with primary amines.
The azide provides a separate conjugation handle for click chemistry with alkyne, BCN or DBCO groups, producing a stable triazole linkage. This non-PEG aliphatic reagent is listed within the click chemistry and PROTAC linker collections.
