Amino-SS-PEG12-acid is a cleavable PEG linker with amine and carboxylic acid termini and a disulfide linkage that can be cleaved using Dithiothreitol (DTT). The amine supports reactions with carboxylic acids, activated NHS esters and other carbonyl compounds. The carboxylic acid can undergo coupling with primary amines using activators such as EDC and HATU to form a stable amide bond.
