TCO phosphoramidite C6 is a reagent for preparing TCO-modified oligonucleotides by introducing a TCO moiety into substrates bearing primary or secondary hydroxyl groups. The trans-cyclooctene group reacts with tetrazines through inverse electron-demand Diels-Alder cycloaddition (IEDDA), supporting rapid, selective ligation in click chemistry applications.
TCO can isomerize to the cis form and lose its reactivity, so long-term storage is not recommended. The listed storage condition is -20°C, and the supplied purity is 95%.
