TAMRA Picolyl Azide is a fluorescent azide probe for alkyne detection through CuAAC click chemistry. Its copper-chelating picolyl motif increases the effective concentration of Cu(I) at the reaction site, accelerating labeling without requiring higher bulk concentrations of copper or azide reagent. This approach supports detection of low-abundance targets with reduced copper catalyst requirements compared with conventional TAMRA Azide.
The probe is compatible with excitation at the 544 nm Helium-Neon laser line and the 532 nm green laser line. It is soluble in DMSO, DMF, MeOH and has a specified storage temperature of -20°C.
