C6 NBD Ceramide is a membrane-permeable fluorescent lipid probe for green labeling of the Golgi apparatus in living and fixed cells. It supports observation of Golgi morphology in live cells, with fluorescence parameters of Ex=466 nm, Em=536 nm. Its conversion to fluorescent sphingomyelin and glucosylceramide also enables studies of sphingolipid transport and metabolism.
