N3-PEG4-SPA is a noncleavable, heterobifunctional PEG linker with an azide group and an NHS ester. The azide reacts with alkyne, BCN or DBCO groups through click chemistry to form stable triazole linkages. The NHS ester reacts with primary amines, forming stable amide bonds with proteins, peptides and other amine-containing molecules.
Also listed as Azido-PEG4-NHS ester, this reagent is used in antibody-drug conjugate (ADC) synthesis. Its two functional groups support its placement in the ADC Linkers, Click Chemistry and functionalized PEG categories.
