BP Fluor 405 DBCO is a water-soluble, blue-fluorescent dye for multicolor applications, including flow cytometry and STORM super-resolution microscopy. Its excitation is suited to the 407 nm krypton laser line or a 408 nm violet laser diode. Listed solvents include Water, DMSO, DMF.
The DBCO group reacts with azides through copper-free click chemistry to form a stable triazole, without a copper catalyst or elevated temperatures. This labeling chemistry provides an alternative to copper-dependent fluorescent alkynes when copper use is a concern.
